5th grade September student of the month!





Students participate in a Socratic Seminar, a class discussion that is 100% student-led. Students discussed several questions related to the current poem we are studying, A Poem for My Librarian, Mrs. Long!

6th grade students participate in a Gallery Walk, in which they observed each groups’ work about the theme of the poem we are currently studying, A Poem for My Librarian, Mrs. Long!





Students worked together to create a rap or song about the 4 types of sentences: declarative, imperative, interrogative, and exclamatory. Then they got to share it with the class! Way to go 6th grade!

NOPE! We hosted our first in-person SWITCHEROO since 2019, and it was AMAZING!
