Thanks to the generosity of dozens of local professionals, 9th grade students had the opportunity to attend a college and career fair.
Students visited different tables to learn about a variety of careers. Some required on the job training, a technical certificate, and up to a doctorate degree. In addition to learning about education required, students received first hand accounts of the most fulfilling and challenging aspects of professions as well. ASU Mid-South representatives talked to students about programs they can enroll in starting next year.
This event was sponsored by F.O.R Club. We are so proud of our student leaders and thankful to have so many community partners visit our campus to inspire our students.

Look at our 8th grade engineers! They have begun building their rollercoasters in science class. After learning the components of energy, doing some research, and creating a design sketch of their roller coaster, they have started building them.
