The Marion School District is seeking critical feedback from parents, staff, students, and other community stakeholders who have significant insight into the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on teaching and learning. Feedback will be used to inform the district's plan for the use of ARP ESSER (COVID Relief Funding) funds received.
ARP ESSER is part of the American Rescue Plan Act signed into law on March 11, 2021. ARP ESSER stands for “American Rescue Plan Act: Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief.” The funding is designed to help schools return safely to in-person instruction, maximize in-person instruction time, sustain the safe operations of schools, and address the academic, social, emotional, and mental health impact of COVID-19. More information about the ARP ESSER funds is available here.
As the Marion School District develops its plan for the use of this federal funding, we are seeking feedback from stakeholders throughout the community. To share your feedback, please follow the link to this survey.
We thank you for your input and your continued support.
