The Marion School District now has a massive new shed in place to protect part of its transportation fleet.
The new facility, which covers more than 8,400 square feet, was completed earlier this month. It is located at the district’s transportation facility on Esperanza Drive.
The new facility will ensure that Marion’s coach-style buses, band tractor-trailer, and box trucks, all of which have graphic “wraps” featuring school colors and logos, are protected from the sun, wind, and rain.
The Marion School District is an innovative and growing district that ensures an equitable, engaging learning community where every student is empowered to achieve academic excellence and personal growth. With more than 150 years of experience serving families in Crittenden County, the district offers a high school, a junior high, a seventh grade academy, and three award-winning magnet schools.
